What we collect
We process the data you provide when placing an order or contacting us: name, delivery and billing address, email address, order contents, and correspondence. We also process technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and site operation.
Why we process it
To fulfil orders, respond to enquiries, meet accounting and regulatory record-keeping obligations, and to secure the service against abuse.
Legal basis
Processing is based on performance of a contract (order fulfilment), compliance with legal obligations (record keeping), and legitimate interests (service security and improvement) under the GDPR (EU 2016/679).
Retention
Order and invoicing records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting law. Enquiry correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve the matter.
Customer reviews
When an order is marked delivered we email the address on the order a personal, one-time link to leave a review; the link expires after 90 days. If you write a review we store your star ratings, your text, the language you wrote in, the country of the delivery address, the name you chose to show (your first name and initial, or 'Anonymous'), the date, the order it belongs to, and the consent statement you accepted with its version and time. We publish a review only after a manual check, and only with the name you chose, your country and the date; your email address and your order details are never published. We may add translations of your text; the original is kept unchanged. Reviews given to us before this feature existed are imported only under a written confirmation that their authors agreed to publication and are shown without the 'verified order' mark. The legal basis is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time through the contact page: we then remove the review. A review that is not approved is not published and is removed on request.
Audience measurement
We measure visits to this website with our own first-party tool, which uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. For each page view we record the time (to the minute), the page address without any query string, the language, the domain of the website that referred you (never its full address), the country determined by our network provider, the device class (mobile, tablet or desktop) and the browser family. Your IP address and your browser's identification string (user agent) are used only at that moment to compute a visitor code and are never stored. The code is computed with a random value that is replaced every day and then deleted, so it cannot be linked from one day to the next; we do not use it to identify you. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, no code is computed and the visit is counted only as an anonymous page view; this is also how you can object to this measurement. These records are deleted after 90 days and are not shared with any third party. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and improving it; this assessment is pending review by legal counsel.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, request portability, and lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority.
